I'm in Yahoo 12 team/9 cat H2H leagues. With the latest Kawhi news, should I make a cut rate offer for Kawhi or enjoy whatever healthy players I have and just focus on the ROS/playoffs?
Petrified of him missing the playoffs, but if you can get him for like a top-60/70 guy from an owner that's in a total panic, you sorta have to try.
Yeah, there's 7 weeks left in the regular season plus the All Star break which comes out to two months. I'm not sure if he's worth giving up a good shot at getting a bye week in the playoffs (top 2 records get a bye).
I'm in a very similar situation top 2 teams get a bye and I am aggressively trying to move Kawai for a top 60 guy. Not worth the headache to me.
I would not offer anyone in the top-100 for Kawhi. He's too much of a risk. Stay away. He's not the buy-low play you want to make. Come playoffs there's one stat that rises above all others and that's Games Played.
Amen, EO!
VERY LOW! for the gamble of he have some sort of consistence after the break, but he will be resting more then his normal rests while recovering, you will be barely able to use him. If you are in a comfortable position you can do the gamble, but will be really hard for him to have impact this season. I guess if you can buy him for someone outside the top80 might payoff, but that's about it.
I traded Kawhi for Myles in a league, then started kicking myself when I read about Myles being out indefinitely. In retrospect, the trade looks a lot better.
