I am hunting down Mirotic in my 14 teams 9 cats, I want to add someone to Steve Adams, my logic options are either Josh Richardson or Aaron Gordon, which one do you guys would rather give away?

Both have the same number of playoff games, I am inclined to Josh, he is awesome, but, with Wade around and mcgruder coming back from injury, there will be more mouths to feed and even with him being the best player of that bunch his value might drop a small bit, while Aaron is the man in Orlando (I guess that won't change now).

I'm not going to answer your question, but the way AG has played this season, I think all bets are off for his value post all-star break. Hezonia(!) is playing great and they may keep AG on a leash to keep his value down, and you'll have Vucevic coming back who will each possessions. Is Mirotic really worth that much?

Hey Philippe! Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate it! I think AG will be a top70 (Floor) Top40 (upside) post All star break and he will be playing for his contract. Orlando playing him less minutes will just make AG unhappy the teams in the nba know him and his value they won't be hidding nothinig from everyone. Also, Hezonia is playing really well and playing for his future, but Orlando declined their team option on him, so they have no reason to play him over Aaron.

About the offer, I was thinking the same, It is a lot to give, but Mirotic will be a top40-30, but more then that his skill set will really help my team needs.

Anyway, other trade went down and I will not do this one anymore. 🙂

But would love to keep the debat about Josh vs Aaron and their value ROS. 🙂

Yeah, that was a mistake declining the option and I'm sure they regret that now lol. And fwiw, I have AG in 4 of my 6 Yahoo leagues, so I'm a fan and hopeful about him turning it around. But it's been a shit season however you look at it given the expectations for him this year. I'm just not optimistic about him returning top 30 the rest of the way. He just seems too banged up this year. Hopefully a good training regimen and time off this summer makes him better next year.

I have been staying away, not really high on him, Was much higher on guys like Gary for this year. But got him in this one league and have to deal with it! 😀

In Orlando they are cleaning the house, and Super Mario is playing well in a bad team, I am still not sold in him contributing to win, but since his times in Barcelona that it is clear the he have potential, anyway, the mental side of it is tricky, he is older now and hopefully will be able to find his path, but he even with good number, still do a lot of dumb stuff in the court.

Too much for Miro IMO. AG ia bit dangerous, but if healthy can flirt with top 30 (as he did before his brutal slump)

Yeah, you guys know how much I love Niko, but that's too much to pay.

The problem you will face is that most who have him will have either held him through the season (like Dan) or have snapped him quickly once he was traded. Then they have seen him go bonkers in 4 weeks.

Either they expected good things and are going to make sure they get paid, or thought the trade was a change and that's been validated.

In short... i would be very surprised if Mirotic could be acquired at a price that represents good value. I've been knocking back offers of top 50/top 40 guys the past week. Partly because i expect him to do better, and partly because I just want to see how he goes.

At this point if someone offered me the RIGHT top-40ish guy I'd be willing to move him, but now I've sorta built my team with the expectation that Niko can fill a need in scoring, 3's, boards and maybe even a few defensive stats with very few TOs. If I traded him, I'd have to retool other parts of my team.

Now, if someone was going to give me a top-25 guy for Niko and maybe some top-75 dude on my team in a 2-for-1, I'd still look at trading up.
