I want Jokic really badly. The guy who has him is asking for batum and lowry or howard and griffin.
This is a points league 14 team. should i do it? or am i giving away too much and i should ask him to thrown in waiters or somebody else?
Thanks
Hard to tell because I don't know the exact scoring of your points league, but in general I like to have depth in deeper leagues (14+). I think Dwight & Griffin are solid in points formats, but if it's a 2-for-1 trade you have to look at who you're picking up off the waivers to truly gauge if you can get a net gain from this. Who are the best players on the wire?
thank you. thats very good insight. best players on the waiver are Nance, ish smith, seth curry, t chandler, its pretty barren. This is the scoring format.
Field Goals Attempted (FGA) -.5
Field Goals Made (FGM) 1
Free Throws Attempted (FTA) -.5
Free Throws Made (FTM) 1
3-point Shots Attempted (3PTA) -.5
3-point Shots Made (3PTM) 2
Points Scored (PTS) 1
Total Rebounds (REB) 1.5
Assists (AST) 2
Steals (ST) 3
Blocked Shots (BLK) 3
Turnovers (TO) -1
Triple-Doubles (TD) 5
Nance is a solid pick up. He's gonna start for them as of now and then the trade looks like jokic and nance for Dwight and griffin which is more appealing. Plus that triple double 5 point category is appealing with jokic. Blakes efficiency in percentages could be terrible bringing down his value. You're getting the best player in the deal.
Good crowdsourcing on this one.
Only thing I'd say is ... does this person KNOW how much you want Jokic? Sort of puts you in a place of low leverage if you're coming at it from a position of want/need.
Thanks Ben, I hope he accepts.
Dan- Yes he does know. Basically everybody in my league know my love for jokic -__- lol
Trade Howard and Griffin for him, and don't look back. It's not even close. Lowry and Jokic are the only elite players on the table.
