I wanted to pick everyone's brain on Nikola Jokic. Let me start by saying I'm a huge fan of Jokic and love his fantasy skill set, and he was my 1st round pick last year. That being said, I am so hesitant to rank him as a guaranteed first rounder this year... I know this may sound crazy as I'm very aware most fantasy experts have him ranked anywhere from 7-10 overall in 9 cat. However, aren't there soooo many mouths to feed in Denver this year, even with their high paced offense? I mean logically this should be Jokic's team, I get that, but a part of me feels he doesn't have that "it" factor to take over.... I mean he willingly took a back seat to Jusuf Nurkic last year before Nurk got traded, when the 2 center lineup wasn't working. Jokic is sooo skilled, but I worry hes too much of a nice guy and will defer to all his teammates this year.

I mean I'm not saying he's gonna be a bust or anything, obviously, I guess my question is, is Jokic a GUARANTEED no q's asked top 10 player? Am I overthinking this?

You’re overthinking it. He’s good value for a late-first. He’s steadily improving, not by leaps, but steadily.

I'm with Erik on this one. I wouldn't draft him higher than 9/10, but he's a pretty safe bet to land in that area.

He's probably not going much higher without more on the defensive end, but he's also not going much lower simply because he can contribute everywhere else on a high-octane team.

for what it's worth, Jokic has a very good schedule for H2H leagues. I believe he goes 4-4-4 during the playoffs.

Assuming one's H2H playoffs go 3/11- 3/31, Denver plays 3-4-4.

I would take him in the 8-10 range for sure.
