Since the Hawks are never on national tv I've never seen Collins play. I see he was a top 50 guy last season in 25 minutes per game, so on a per minute basis he's incredible. My question is what is his trajectory? Is he an obvious top 25 guy in 30+ minutes in the next year or two?
Everyone is betting on him to be the main guy on Atlanta, minutes and points. The problem is that he is a sleeper in every single list made, so people will probably reach for him in your draft.
Brenno is spot on. He's a POST-sleeper. He's a HYPE TRAIN guy, and his price has gotten overboard.
I agree with everything said. He's Jamal Murray last year. The price people paid made it so even though he had a good year there were no gains to be found. With that said, Collins is [B150 info redacted]. That's partly why I ask, cause if he's only a rim running athletic forward, his ceiling is a little limited.
I'll lend my voice to the choir. At this point, I think Collins absolute best case scenario is to perform to his ADP and that's probably a long-shot. The other guys going around him are proven commodities whereas Collins is still projected to become one of those guys. If at all possible I'd go with a player that has a reliable track record.
Guys, please be careful not to post B150 info in the public forum. You paid for that, so keep it safe! 🙂
Thanks!
Sorry! I had no idea they were public.
