Thoughts on adding Jerami Grant in a dynasty league. Currently have the first round bye and am gearing up for the semis that start after this next week (2 week playoff matchups). I've been adding/dropping as I prepare for my opponent. Grant has been playing well lately as far as scoring and I'm tempted to pick him up. Dan mentioned he should be the guy at PF next year for Denver. Should I drop Naz Reid, Shake Milton, Lou Williams, or Nerlens Noel for him? I've been on the fence. Hold and try to win now or add him and don't miss out on the opportunity to have him next year as a solid young player.
With your position to potentially win the league, that should be your primary focus. But with Milsap’s health, Grant could still be a contributor for you this year. I’m fine with swapping him for Noel.
Thanks Capt. I was able to pick him back up. Gonna have to punch some numbers to see what I need to beat the team I'll be seeing the semis starting week 21.
Crunching the numbers is the best way to go to determine the most likely swing cats. So many people go into a playoff matchup and don't look at the stats, just thinking that their games advantage is all they need when the games they're adding by streaming may be irrelevant to the categories that will actually make a difference.
