12 team 9 cat H2H.
Assuming I get harden and jrue for my first two picks, my third pick lands at 26.
Who are you taking out of these four in order, assuming they are available (I suspect Drummond or Gobert or Draymond could be gone)?
Also, are any of them a reach?
I'd u have 1st or second pick over all?
Yes second pick overall. Assuming davis is gone and I'm taking harden.
i have the same issue... im number 1 in a 14 team league... my first will be AD... 2nd most probably will be a guard.. but my 3rd will def be ayton or capela...
is it a sin to draft ayton that early? his preseason is loooking gooood.
i think the order would be:
capela
ayton
gobert
drummond
draymond
That's too early for Ayton. 26 for a guy that hasn't played a meaningful minute yet? Gotta go with someone more experienced.
problem if i dont get a center in this round, then they'll be all gone when its time for my 4th pick
Yah scratch ayton
In h2h, I'm thinking
Gobert/capela (interchannable due to durability for capela but role upside for Gobert)
Drummond
Draymond
Need fg anchor with harden
I LOVE Ayton's game but keep in mind: the pre-season games he has dominated were against significantly inferior competition than he is going to see after October 16th. Also, he hasn't been on the floor with Devin Booker who will still be the #1 option on this team. Ayton has looked VERY impressive showing a mature, fundamentally sound game with jumpers, post moves and his obvious physicality but the smart play with your 3rd round pick is to grab Drummond or Gobert.
Drummond
Gobert
Green
Capela
Ayton
If there's a keeper element Ayton moves up but for now, the other 5 guys are safer picks. But its your team and you have to enjoy the guys you pick so if you really want to root for Ayton, go for it!
Gobert, Capela, Ayton, Green. Not touching Drummond unless I get Bron or Giannis in round 1 and want to punt. If so, I'd take Drummond before all those guys.
I posted my team in the rate my team thread. I just dont see Drummond as an auto punt ft in all circumstances.
I ended up with harden butler Drummond to start which I think is far from punt ft.
Vishal you are correct, but it's also going to be next to impossible to be GOOD at FT even with two of the best FT guys in the league. It's a trade-off, to be sure.
I think that's too generic of a statement. The guy with Drummond in my league last year was a leader in ft with curry Lou Darren beal etc
I will add that h2h makes Drummond easier to build around for ft
I just meant ... if you have Harden and Butler WITHOUT Drummond, you have a good shot of winning that category. With Drummond, he drops you back toward mid-pack. Yes, for roto is what I meant, so that may have been the disconnect. In h2h, you can get away with being mid-pack, since things swing so much on a week to week basis for sure.
