Traded Whiteside for Buddy Hield because I was in dire need of points and 3s
It’s been 2 weeks since I made the trade and I haven’t made any progress towards 3s and points (closing gap slowly) and instead lost a few points in rebs and blks. I’m hoping that favors can help me there, as I picked him off waivers when he had his back injury; so I’ve been sitting on him and miscalculated his return (resulted in trading away Whiteside)
Should I be opening up a streaming spot? Any trades I should be looking to do? Sit tight and maybe the ship will set its course?
There are some streamers available.
Zeller
Biyombo
Divincenzo
Hart
Derrick Jones jr
Wood
Some of the Names are uninspiring, but I’ve reached a point in the season where it’s time to panic I think. What are your thoughts?
When you say streaming spot, do you just mean hunting for a hot guy or maxing games played? Do you have a games cap?
Hunting for hot guys to fill the categorical needs. There is a games cap. But I’m like 12 games under the season cap at my pace. I’m just looking to see what would be the best approach at this point and time based on my standings.
Id Drop prince and Sato and stream those spots till your on pace with the league or games cap. Target a category or 2 you think will be able rise rank in. Your team is looks pretty good when healthy so dont stress it does however look like a big man or 2 short.
I disagree with Facestars on catching up on games played. It's way too early to worry about that.
In fact, lagging back by 15-20 games is great since you can attack particular categories at the end of the year when everyone else is running out of games.
Also I can't see the standings image...
Sorry about that. lets see how that goes now.
There it is!
So the 3's make no sense to me, but with Hield and Bertans you can't possibly hang out that low for long. Kyrie's return will help with points, your %s are already great...
I think I'd give it another 1-2 weeks before doing anything drastic. A Kyrie return and Davis/Hield hitting 3's should move you up in those spots and we can better assess how big of a rebound/block hit you took.
Yea, the 3s have been low to begin with and I just traded for Hield roughly 2 weeks ago. So I'm furiously playing catch-up right now in terms of 3s. I've been banking on Kyrie's return to help with both points, 3s and sprinkle of reb/assists for a while now, but each passing day of DNP-INJ is killing me.
Are duncan robinson or IT free agents they could help. Divencenzo will be good while bledsoe is out.
It’s been about a week and boy, have things right to the gutter. Bertans has a few clunkers and got hurt. Hield decided that it was a great time to get ice cold. And I’m back where I started except I lost my best trade chip. In Antipication of a prolonged Blake Griffin absence I picked up Kennard who promptly missed today’s game. Which led to a missed pick up on Huerter.
My team stands as above subtracting prince for kennard.
