League details: 14-team, H2H, 9 cat (standard nine), weekly roster lock, one IR spot.

I'm in second place in the standings due to my studs--Lowry, Jokic, Kyrie, Oladipo-- and decent production from my supporting cast--Taurean, Jaylen, Jingles, James Johnson, Ingram, Brogdon. (Yes, my roster is a pantheon of HoopBall recs.)

The problem is my second center spot and my underperforming stashes. Other than Jokic, I've only got Holmes and Ed Davis for centers (and my league requires two starting Cs). I've also got Markieff. I can't just swap Holmes in when Embiid rests, because we set lineups weekly, not daily. I know Holmes should be getting the backup C minutes based on talent and ability, but Amir is a Colangelo guy, and the Sixers seem to be doing just fine with him backing up Embiid. I have no idea what to do with Kieff. He seems like he's in decline, but if I drop him and he starts putting up last year's numbers, I'm going to kick myself.

My question: Do I stash Holmes and/or Markieff for another week? Or do I drop them (or Ed Davis) in favor of some of these waiver wires guys:

Jordan Bell
Zaza
Gorgui Dieng
Bam
Dwight Powell
Willy Hernangomez
Skal

I'd drop Ed Davis for Zaza, Skal or Gorgui. Probably Skal since his path to mins looks simplest, but Gorgui finally got going last night so maybe Thibs remembers he's not terrible.

This year's been absolutely killing me on the big man front. I normally like to stack my teams with high percentage centers and I won my keeper league last year based on that strategy, but this year all of those same centers aren't even playing. R.I.P. big man basketball

Yep 100% agree, the demise of most of the back of the draft sleeper bigs has been a major headache this year. The brilliance of Ingles & Dinwiddie (and early HB recommendations of) has helped to offset that, but especially in 9 cat roto a base of efficient bigs works so well, and they're nowhere to be found. It's also extremely tough to trade for them as a result. You have to give up about a round's worth of (in a vacuum) value. More and more I think the latter is worth doing, given the solid quality of guard and wing pickups versus the scraps at the big man end.
