I really liked how Jonathan Simmons looked in the pre-seasons, and with Terence Ross uncertain to start the opener, is it time to go pick up Jonathan Simmons?
My drop candidates are Taj Gibson or Dirk- Taj is likely to start for Thibs, but he's very unlikely to get many touches on that team. Dirk is.... old.
I have a very deep front court: Horford, B Lopez, Aldridge, Dedmon, so I think I can afford to drop Taj for Simmons who I think has a big upside?
I'd go grab Simmons for sure. His upside looks very promising. Taj nowhere near as much.
Are we talking 12 team league? You dont look like you need Taj stat set with those rebound and fg% guys you already have.
Simmons has looked great in preseason with awesome intensity. Larry Nance is also someone that might be available that might be worth a flier since has the starting gig
If you're looking for upside Simmons is definitely the better choice especially after what he showed in the pre-season.
I'm not sure I want either of 'em, but Simmons is certainly the more intriguing of the two!
