Hey there HBers. I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the NBA and fantasy season. I have a DEEP question that I would love as much support with as possible. I'm in a 12 team, H2H, 9 -cat league and am not in love with my team, after feeling "okay" about them after the draft, knowing I was lacking in some categories.
In just the second week, I'm at a serious lack in points, rebounds, and assists, and am killing it in all the counting stats (stuff n things). I'm definitely considering punting ASTs and maybe PTS, but I'd rather not throw two categories, as I know it's still only week two and there are still 20+ left.
So I'll list my team, followed by guys on my watch list to give me a boost. Would love some feedback on who to trade and possibly trade them for.

Guards - Booker, Thybulle, Beverley, Forbes, Jrue
Bigs - AD, P.J. Tucker, WCS, Isaac, B Lopez, Oubre, Dedmon, Markkanen, Hachimura
Watch List (it's a doozy and open to considering people not on this list)
Embiid, Westbrook, Vuc (his owner just lost Steph), Siakam, Porzingis, Love, Bryant, Ingram, Richaun

Oubre is a bit of a sell high (though he's going to be very good this year). Dedmon is probably a drop. Could try to send Oubre out for someone UNDERperforming that will likely finish higher than him. Not on your watch list, though.
Also thanks for the kind words. Right now the fires are a MASSIVE headache but we're safe, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
Try a 2 for 1 for vuc. His owner may be panicking
Although a punt strategy is not for everyone, your current setup looks ideal for a punt assists build.
Who is on your waiver wire? Like Dan, I would drop Dedmon. He doesn’t look fit, and Richaun looks like he’ll own that spot until Bagley returns.
WCS and Thybulle don’t do it for me. WCS, even when 100% healthy in SAC, was never a great fantasy player. Too many holes in his game. Thybulle doesn’t do enough offensively for my liking, but that could change later in the season.
Keep looking for those 2 for 1 trades to gradually and replenish off of the WW. There’s always value to be had.
I would never recommend punting 2 cats. It never works, no room for error anywhere else. Hang onto Oubre, he is good! Maybe start tinkering with some other trade ideas.

So the Vuc/Steph owner (he’s actually a HB follower) has been sending out offers trying to get Oubre from me since last week. This morning he offered (a bad one at that) my Jrue and Oubre for Teague, WCJ, and TJ Warren. The rest of his lineup features: CP3, Lamb, Bam, Graham, Thomas Bryant, PJW, RoCo, Richaun, House, Curry (IL).
I’m fine giving up a guy who is heavy in assists to help him (like Jrue or Booker) and maybe swing a 2 for 1 on his end. What about even taking a Steph back in a 2 for 2, as a stash?
Has there been an update on Steph yet?

David, I’ve got 2 open IL spots and I’d be dropping Thybulle, Bryn Forbes, WCS, or PatBev.
This is a trade I’d be offering though, not one sent to me. I know it’s still super early and I am middle of the pack in standings, but really wanna make that improvement. I still have Booker, so there’s a piece of that high octane offense, and holding onto Jrue gives me a piece of that pie with upside of Zion, Hart, and co picking up steam in a few weeks.
I just can't advocate it, especially since you'd have to sit on Curry an entire season, basically. He really might not play.
