I know Tom Thibodeau is going to limit Dieng's potential to lean on old man Taj to help get the message across that players need to play better defense... fine! But will he sink Dieng into oblivion like he did yesterday by playing him 14 minutes? I'm heavily invested in Dieng because he was easy to get much later than his projected value, he fits my team builds, and it only takes a small opportunity (minutes, injury) for him to hit his projections. But yesterday was depressing! How do you guys feel about him after yesterday?
Game 1. So don't jump overboard yet...
But you are on point, he is gonna get Thibbed every now and then; hopefully he just gets his 20-25 mpg to be effective fantasy wise.
Dieng is pretty high on b150. Can u guys shed some light on this. Thks
I wouldn't hit the panic button yet, but it does seem like he could be a frustrating guy to own this year. Keep an eye on which teams he gets minutes against and you may be able start to predict when it is better to leave him on your bench and stream someone in (in daily changes leagues) if you have an open roster spot.
Definitely hold for now though as he should have some positive regression back to the mean.
HOLD for now, definitely. That's probably a worst case scenario last night.
