Not terribly invested in winning this year. I feel like I’d be selling low on Gary. A bit unclear on Nance’s role when Love and Thompson are healthy since the Cavs seem invested on keeping Love around, though I could use a good center for my build.
Gary is also younger despite the injuries and Nance is injury prone too.
Thoughts? Even? Too low for Harris? Thanks!
I also have an offer for Okafor and some picks instead of Nance.
You have to go with the guy on a proven track record, despite the current injuries. Gary.
I actually kinda like Nance as part of the Cleveland rebuild (since TT will be gone next year and they seem okay with playing nance/love together), though Harris has the clearer path to playing time over the next 3-5 years. To me, this is about where you think they'll be in 2022.
I'm still tempted though I don't think I need to do anything drastic since I just made some trades to go younger, turning Ibaka, Bazemore, and Gerald Green into Landry Shamet, Thomas Bryant, and three 2020 2nd round picks.
My core lineup is now:
Trae Young
Landry Shamet
Isaiah Thomas
Bradley Beal
Josh Richardson
Gary Harris
Svi Mykhailiuk
Lonnie Walker
Alonzo Trier
Rodney McGruder
Jonathan Isaac
Nerlens Noel
Thomas Bryant
Daniel Theis
(+Shake Milton who I believe in dammit!)
I'm still pretty guard heavy so shoring up Nance would make it more balanced but maybe I should hold out until the offseason and see how he finishes the year? 24 team league.
Not sure if that helps make the decision easier!
