Hey, I've got a question I'm having trouble finding. I was wondering how many games it takes for a player to get put on the IL list?
I have WCS in a keeper league and he's already been ruled out for tomorrow's game, making it the third game in a row. I assumed he'd move to IL after being ruled out but that hasn't happened yet.
I'm set to have a bye week next week, so my thought process is to move WCS to IL, then pick up Kevin Love when he clears waivers on March 8th (I'm 3rd position in waiver claims). Then I'd swap Love into my one IL spot and move WCS back to the active roster, assuming he'll be back before Love.
I've been hoping to do this so I can grab Love without having to drop anybody on my roster.
But first I need WCS to move to the IL list before the 8th!
My guess is that Yahoo! waits for a definitive "Out" status first, but not sure whether one or two days is the threshold.
Usually 3 games missed i think.
I currently have both and don't know if I should drop one or both. I'm in 12 team h2h 11 cat.
I also struggled with this question so many times and I finally figured it out a couple days ago, basically the INJ status is applied only once he is projected to miss 7+ days due to an injury..
These statuses are determined by our data provider and are defined as:
O - Projected to miss less than 7 days.
INJ - Projected to miss 7+ days due to injury.
OFS - Projected to miss the rest of the NBA season.
GTD - May or may not play, determined prior to the game's tip-off.
