If you need what he offers (boards, FG%) and you have a streaming spot or some dead weight to drop, sure. Otherwise I wouldn't consider him a must-add. I picked him up in a 16-teamer where my drop was Andre Iguodala. In a 12-teamer where the players at the back of my roster are Kornet, Mitch Robinson, and Mikal Bridges, I'm passing on him. Somewhere between those two situations is the zone where Faried is an add.

I would guess that Faried is probably going to be the more steady and reliable producer for the next month-plus that Capela is out, but he has that expiration date built in; after that he's nothing. If you need production now, he's your guy. If you're in a good situation right now and just want to chase upside for late in the season (if you're in a H2H playoff league) I'd take Zubac. His minutes and production could continue to fluctuate wildly in the short term but there's at least a chance that he earns a steady role at some point and is a reliable fantasy producer in March.

I would add Faried. It's a speculative add but given how starved the Rockets are for a big, we could see him grab 10.5-12.7 RPG.
