I'm not competing and have been offered a round 1 (top 20) pick for next year's rookie draft. I already have my first rounder which will be any where from 1st pick to 8th.
Would you accept a future first and trade away Jeremy lamb? I worry that he will only ever be this or top 100, make the trade and plan for getting two good rooks?
I'm not experienced with dynasty and haven't closely studied next year's rookie crop, so I'm not sure I can give good advice on this, but I'll post this reply just to bump your thread to the top so it doesn't get lost. Hopefully some folks better expertise will see it and be able to help you out!
Depends how far away you are from competing. Lamb is a nice mid-round asset but if you're still 3-4 years away, then yeah, stock up on picks that could pan out into something bigger. If you might want to make a charge at it next year or the year after, probably stick with Lamb, then.
