I have the last pick in 14 H2H league 9Cats.. Since scoring is getting thin that late unless someone falls to me, I was wondering if I do a Drum/Gobert at the turn and then try to get Bob Cov & Porter at the next turn.

What do u guys think of this idea? I can dominate 5 cats

Points are SUPER hard to be good in this year. Your plan could definitely work.

I know it's weird to say, but it's almost overkill. You're almost punting 4 categories. I think maybe you replace either RoCo or Porter with someone who can get you stronger in a 6th category since steals are all over the map later on. Plus you could add a guy like Steven Adams who actually gets steals from the C position later.

Looking at the #s u are right it’s an overkill. I’m just hoping someone mess up and let PG or Kawhi fall..

The decision is tougher having last pick in 14 team league. I just have to be patient and see the value falls hopefully

I think this year centers are available in the mid to 80th. Adams, Whiteside, Dedmon, JaVale, and Jarrett Allen all are available.

Personally, I hate it. Guards/assists are thin this year. You need 2 elite/strong ones with your first 4 picks. Points also drop significantly after round 2. Drummond is a stud, but for me Gobert is NOT worth a second round pick this year when you can get someone like Capela in the 3rd or 4th...or Steven Adams/Whiteside in round 7 or 8.

I agree with Dan, going BIG/BIG with your first two picks means you're probably punting assists because most the 6+/game guys will be gone, you're punting scoring because the majority of your 20+/game guys are in the top 2 rounds. Also, by virtue of going big, you've also punted FT%.

Don't do this, brother. You'll be painting yourself into a corner you can't get out of.

My advice would be to try to stay competitive in the majority of categories as deep into the draft as you can.

Thanks guys, I went against it. I thought I would try to dominate 5 categories but it’s more difficult in a deeper league. I will try to do a soft punt(meaningful don’t be last in a particular Cat)in one or two categories instead lol.
