Hey guys,
Need your crowd-sourced wisdom please. I'm drafting last in my 15-team 9-cat roto league. I know a lot of people like drafting on the turn but I feel like not being able to make a pick until #15 & #16 is pretty dire. Who should I aim for with my first two picks? Please talk me off the edge 🙂
So I feel like without having a top-10 stud I should just shoot for the stars right? Aim for guys who have top-10 upside? I'm thinking CP3 (injury risk but #9 per game last year) and Jimmy Butler (injury risk but #11 per game). Am I crazy to even be thinking about reaching for K-Love and hoping for a return to his pre-LeBron glory days?
These are the guys Yahoo has in and around #15 ADP:
Ben Simmons - Why? He was #51 per game last year.
Kemba - #28 per game last year. Durable though I guess. But no upside here.
Embiid - #31 per game last year and also injury risk. Can he really elevate into top-20?
Kyrie - Injury risk and not as talented as CP3.
Donovan Mitchell - I don't really get the love for him.

Butler probably has to be in your mix, there. Cp3 is a maybe. Love is too much of a reach, I'd say. Embiid I could make a case for, provided he gets his TOs down a bit.
Thanks Dan! Is Jimmy still in the mix given his situation now? Or is #15/16 too early to take him? What if he lands in Houston? Surely that will hurt his value.
So my thinking is clearly I take any of Russ, Dipo, PG13, Kawhi if they fall to me. But assuming they're all off the board as likely will be and I'm seeing Embiid going early in mocks so let's assume he's gone too. So which two out of the following do you take?

Chris Paul
Donovan Mitchell
Kyrie Irving
Jrue Holiday
Jimmy Butler
Hm. Yeah, I think you gotta bump him down a tiny bit just based on the potential to miss games or log lower mins.
