I'm in a Head-2-Head 14 player league with the following players:
Chris Paul PG
Jimmy Butler SG,SF
Jeff Teague PG
Taurean Prince SF
James Johnson SF,PF
Joe Ingles SG,SF
Brook Lopez C
Enes Kanter C
Tyreke Evans Util SG,SF
Trevor Booker Util PF
Richaun Holmes PF,C (Injured) Bench
Rajon Rondo PG (Injured) Bench
Isaiah Thomas PG (Injured) Bench
A few questions
- Any thoughts on this team?
- Was wondering if I should leave the team as it is for week one
- Should I drop any specific player (like Rishaun since he is INJ) and pick up a player on Oct 19th when the waiver clears and if I do that, what position needs a boost?
Some players are still available on waiver like
Courtney Lee SG,SF
Ish Smith PG
Jonathan Simmons SG,SF
Donovan Mitchell SG
C.J Miles SG,SF
It looks like I can only use players that have games on the 19th, in case I want them to start this week. Not sure if I should take that risk and put in Courtney Lee and C.J Miles and remove two from the lineup like Tyreke Evans and Trevor Booker. I hope that's the right approach for a head-2-head league.
I say leave it as is. Ish is the guy I might target on waivers, but you're set for assists already.
Excellent, thanks Dan!
What bigs are on the wire? Seems like that's your soft spot, and I wonder if there's a better option than Trevor Booker.
I was thinking the same thing about Trevor Booker.
Here is a screenshot of what I have for bigs on the wire:
Actually, it looks like from that list, I can only pick up and use 3 players who are playing on Oct 19th when the waiver clears. The rest are playing on Oct 18th, so I cannot pick them up.
These are the 3:
P.Patterson (GTD)
K.O'Quinn
P.Zipser
Any thoughts on whether one of these should replace Trevor Booker?
Of those 3, I'd take Zipser for now. Then keep an eye on Zeller, Carroll, Leuer, and Koufos(for low end blocks). Zipser will get mins, and could give low end all around stats. Zeller or Carroll would be guys I'd consider dropping Zipser for if he's too low end. Keep in mind the Bulls have a tough sked this week. But he's gonna get 30mpg probably, which is his biggest plus.
If Carroll keeps his play from preseason rolling he may be more valuable, at that point you just punt boards. Otherwise Zeller could be decent if he can get 25mpg.
Hopefully a better big gets dropped for you to pick up!
