Would loooove to get some eyes on my newly-assembled team. Thoughts? Weaknesses?
A 9-cat, 11 team. Picked 7th:
7. Steph Curry
16. Myles Turner
29. Conley
38. Horford
51. Vucevic
60. Oladipo
73. A. Gordon
82. Marquese Chriss
95. Brogdon
104. Prince
117. J Richardson
126. Ingles
139. Crabbe
Great draft. Feel confident. Let's see how it rolls for a few weeks and then we can tweak it. Barring a super-mega guy popping up on the waiver wire of course.
Hoop Ballers are really rallying on Josh Richardson, despite it not being a hot pick in the B150. I'm intrigued with this, and all these drafts are steering me towards him now, more so than Tyler Johnson for the Miami Heat. I just really hope J-Rich can get himself at least a 70+ game season, as he's never successfully played over 60 games in his 2 year career.
With that said though, I love pretty much all the players you have. I'm not too high on Chriss, but he did have a great finish last season, and I know this first-hand, as I was able to nab him in the waiver wire last year. I certainly didn't regret it, and I'm sure he'll at least show flashes of it this year, even if he ends up making rookie-like mistakes.
I would keep watch on your FG%/REBs, as the center eligible players you have aren't exactly the traditional kind of centers haha. Overall though, love the team.
Really solid squad. Feel great about this. Curry as your 1st with the 7th pick. Yes! Turner! Yes. I don't see much to worry about. Maybe some more rebs but that's easy to get and if Chris gets more than he's projected for then your good. Excellent!
Vuc is a good 10-rebound guy that will more than keep you afloat there. Don't worry about it, at least not yet.
Thanks for the encouragement, guys!
There was a guy whose entire team was autopicked and I thought about offering him some 2-for-1s, as Dan suggested on an earlier thread.
The targets are Kemba, McCollum, Bledsoe, Dieng.
Who can I offer him for the trade to be fair?
Maybe Horford and Oladipo for either Kemba or McCollum?
Looks solid as a rock. Would have preferred to see one more big and one less guard. Josh Richardson is going to be a Top 75 player this year. Congrats!
