So my upcoming draft is in 2 weeks... I already know my pick and it’s #13 in a 16 man league. It’s an 8 cat no turnovers league, because I have a low pick I was thinking for Ben Simmons, but would that be taking hunch to high ? It’s a snake draft so I could get someone else and hope to get him 3 picks later but I’m not sure.
Thoughts ?
I might even consider Russ if he falls that far. I'm guessing he won't in 8-cat, though...
Drafting on yahoo, and Yeah i dont think russ is going to fall that low but if he does I'll take him over Simmons. I guess my question was is simmons viable to build your team around, Although unless he improved over the summer I'll have to punt ft% right?
Yeah, basically. You kinda need like a Dame/Simmons pairing early if you want to avoid a punt FT build.
Is there any other player I could pair with Simmons to avoid a ft% punt?
Dame had the highest FT impact last season but Steph and Harden came pretty close (both will also be gone).
If you dont want to punt FT, dont draft Simmons. I would start talking him up in every forum you share with anyone in that league.
Hopefully someone takes him before 13 and someone better slides down the board.
