Hello HBallers!

I have landed the coveted 10th spot in an upcoming draft for a 10 team / 9 cat / h2h league!

I have never drafted with this awful slot and looking for some advice on a strategy for this extreme draft position and its long spaces in between picks.

My league will be on ESPN (unfortunately) with a league I have been in for years.
All of the guys are not on hoop ball I think (hopefully?), and some follow a few other sites, while others are not very clued in.

My questions:

How can I exploit this for my draft -- as most guys in the league will follow the awful ESPN rankings?

What would be a possible good pairing for the 10th/11th picks?

ok, many thanks in advance!

J.

Still go for value based on your rankings. Take who falls, maybe not PG13. But Kawhi or Embiid are still high-upside guys. Don’t overthink combos or whatnot. This early, it’s value, value, value

Thanks for the swift reply Erik!

I think your right -- no need to over strategize and go with the best values!

Erik is on the money as always! Don't let position be an issue. Grab the absolute 2 best players period! I love that 10 & 11 spot! Monster value there!

There's something calming about being on a turn since you can't really get sniped too hard. You have your grabs and then you can just plan ahead for a while. Plus on ESPN you'll get all sorts of insane values thanks to their idiotic draft window rank list.
