I’m tempted to ask this question. Is this a sell high opportunity for Donovan Mitchell owners? If you have Spida Mitchell, do you trade him? And for whom? Thanks experts.
I don't own him anywhere but if I did I think I would be trying to sell high on him right now. Part of what he's doing has to do with injuries in the Utah backcourt. But even if he truly has turned a corner and is going to be a beast like this for the rest of the year, if you can get an early-round player for him in a trade then the worst-case scenario is that you've gotten fair value for him. So I'd do it. I think the shrewdest target would be a "sneaky" early-round guy like Tobias Harris who doesn't have a sexy name or a lot of hype value but has turned into a very safe early-round producer.
Khris Middleton would be another guy to target in that same mold. Especially since he's struggled for much of the season and his owner might be down on him.
Indeed, it's not a bad spot for it with all 3 point guards out. You could also try to ride the wave for another 1-2 games and then aggressively shop, too, since I honestly don't know what the trade market is like for him these days.
