In the pursuit of a big man who does what big men are meant to (catch the ball inside and put it in the hoop) ive picked Dedmon up in a trade for the short lived Dejounte.
Subsequently Dieng has hit the wire.
Dedmon is playing now and has limited competition for minutes, Dieng is battling to get on the court but can be very valuable. Which of the two do you value more over the season?
Erring toward Dedmon because he has a (more) guaranteed role and the Hawks have limited backup.
I lean Dieng but if you need stats imminently, you sorta can't do the Dieng stash.
Dieng
Yeah, i feel the same way long term. Dieng is a better long term asset, but Dedmon plugs a gap at C while Nurk-Alert and Joker sort out their shooting.
Roto league though, so I could leave a C slot empty for now and rotate Chriss, Dieng and Nurk through the 2nd C slot later in the season to make up games.
Yeah, you can lag back a bit in games if need be.
