It’s our daily DFS live thread, hosted by up to 5 DFS experts!
These threads will provide daily news/updates and act as a sounding board for new players and experts alike. They will also be a spot where we can link to interesting shows (like the one Coach, Mike and Andrew H. are putting out every day) or other info we feel is worth highlighting.
Myles and Andy G, two DFS experts that are going to be moderators for this thread (and the rest of the HB forums). They will also be making fill in appearances on the DFS Today podcast this 2019-2020 season.

Draymond Green (rest) will play on Wednesday against the Hornets.
He'll be back in action following a one-game absence, which will shift one of either Eric Paschall, Willie Cauley-Stein or Kevon Looney to the second unit. Luckily for Green owners, the Dubs don't have another back-to-back set for a few weeks, so hopefully, that means no rest days for Green. He will be confined to roughly 27 minutes, though.
D'Angelo Russell (right thumb) is expected to play on Wednesday in Charlotte.
He'll likely have a minutes limit in his return from a nine-game absence, and his return will likely push Alec Burks back to the second unit while Ky Bowman will take a fairly large hit. Season-long owners can feel free to get him active.
Marcus Smart (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Heat.
He's oddly being listed as out due to an illness, but not the abdomen contusion, although the abdomen contusion is why he was on the initial injury report as doubtful. Over the past few weeks, Smart has been playing through ankle, hip and finger injuries, so he'll likely welcome the day off. Semi Ojeleye may get the start in his place tonight, but Brad Wanamaker and Carsen Edwards make for the more intriguing DFS targets. The Celtics play again on Friday vs. the Nuggets, and for now, we'll be considering Smart questionable for that one.
De'Andre Hunter (dislocated right index finger) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Nets.
He was downgraded to doubtful after being evaluated by Atlanta's medical staff yesterday, so it's not surprising to see him hit the sidelines. DeAndre Bembry, Vince Carter and Evan Turner will be splitting his minutes tonight, with Bembry offering the most upside out of that group. The Hawks play again on Sunday in Charlotte, and for now, we'll be considering Hunter questionable for that one.
Kevin Huerter (left rotator cuff) will be on a 15-20 minute limit for Wednesday's game vs. the Nets.
He beat his initial timetable by a full week, and while we wouldn't expect much from him tonight with the minutes limit in his first game back from an 11-game absence, he is someone to consider as a speculative add in deep leagues. He was starting to come around in his four games prior to going down with averages of 13.8 points, 2.8 triples, 2.8 assists and 1.5 turnovers per game on 52.8% shooting.
Ricky Rubio (left hand) is "good to go" for Wednesday's game in Orlando, per head coach Monty Williams.
It's unclear exactly what Rubio is dealing with in his left hand, but it's his non-shooting hand and he got through shootaround fine, so we're not all that concerned about it. He should see his normal minutes tonight and is safe to activate in all season-long settings.
Chandler Hutchison (shoulder) is doubtful for Wednesday vs. Memphis.
Even with the Bulls shorthanded, Hutchision is out of the rotation anyways
Bogdan Bogdanovic (left hamstring tightness) is questionable for Wednesday vs. the Blazers.
This is a bit worrying considering he was probable for the previous game. Bogdan did say he's been struggling to get over this hamstring and that he has "consistent pain," so maybe the Kings sit him down for a bit. We won't know more until Wednesday but we could see Yogi Ferrell soak up some extra minutes if Bogdan sits.
ake Layman (left toe sprain) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in Dallas.
Keita Bates-Diop has seen an increased role in the rotation with Layman on the sidelines and has emerged with some deep league value as a 3-point specialist, so he could be someone to think about streaming tomorrow with Layman out again.
Shabazz Napier (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
He returned from a 12-game absence on Sunday and saw nine minutes off the bench, and he's likely going to continue to be eased back into things. However, with Jeff Teague also operating in a reserve role and Jarrett Culver playing well with the starters, there's not a clear path to minutes for Napier even once he's fully up to speed.
Brook Lopez (back) is probable to play on Wednesday against the Pistons.
It looks like BroLo will be back in action tomorrow night following a two-game stint on the sidelines, which will shift his brother Robin back to the second unit where he'll lose most of his appeal. Check back for another update following Wednesday's shootaround.
Sterling Brown (shoulder) is questionable for Wednesday's game in Detroit.
With Khris Middleton back in action, Brown's playing status isn't all that relevant in fantasy hoops.
Kyle Anderson (right heel soreness) is questionable for Wednesday vs. the Bulls.
Anderson has missed three of the last four games with this issue but he remains day-to-day. Leave him on the wire, and go grab De'Anthony Melton if you're looking for a streamer from the shorthanded Grizzlies. Bruno Caboclo and Solomon Hill should be more involved too.
Jonas Valanciunas (illness) is questionable for Wednesday vs. the Bulls.
He was questionable for the last two games and ended up sitting out, but hopefully he feels better in 24 hours. Bruno Caboclo and Solomon Hill each posted one big line in Valanciunas' absence, but we like Caboclo's upside considerably more as a streamer if J-Val sits.
I am providing the Coach and Sharks Consensus players over/unders today Player Props. So check how the scoring will basically align with the scoring and price on the DFS site you are playing on. This may be a regular thing. I added on Yannis since a lot of people will still want to use him or at least compare him tonight to the Studs. The best overall plays I believe are listed in order.
