It's good to be back!
We always get a good crowd in here before lineups lock and I hope we can draw enough love and attention to get some Hoop-Ball DFS contests where podcast listeners, forum stalkers and NBA junkies of all walks can take their shot at some of Hoop Ball's experts in a casual DFS contest. Not only will you dip your feet in the waters, it will give new or inexperienced players an idea of how others construct their lineups.
I Will be in the chat from 5 P.M. EST up until lineups lock. Let's starting crunching numbers!
Neato!
can miles bridges end up being worth the cheap price? looked good last two games
He is an option in large field GPP's, but the Heat have a rock solid defense against wings and some of those options come off of the bench as well. We have some value available and not too many studs to pay for so I am not going to the bargain bin in many lineups and if Fox is ruled out Frank Mason or Yogi Ferrell may prove to be a better value at a similar price range.
Please talk me out of Justin Jackson as a punt even though Iman Shumpert is out.
Justin Jackson Is Justin Jackson! If he fits your build perfectly and you are doing multiple lineups in a GPP, sure, why not. I wouldn't personally put him in my only one. Even on a good shooting night he doesn't provide many other peripherals.
We're at the "Justin Jackson or Jeff Green" part of the day, so it's been a rough one.
De'Aaron Fox's status is "still up in the air". Team will evaluate him following shoot around.
We should have this news within the hour.
Aron Baynes WILL PLAY. He will come off of the bench without any restrictions according to Celtics beat write Jay King.
I'd prefer Green over Jackson Mike.
Fred VanVleet has been ruled OUT. Boost mostly goes to Lowry as Wright is still working himself back from injury.
Fox WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY.
Steven Adams and Nerlens Noel WILL PLAY. Jerami Grant will play and is a sneaky source for value.
Favorite high priced studs to roster tonight? I'm seeing lots of tough matchups for quite a few of them.
