Hey guys, thanks so much for the advice this week. Three days to go in my semi-final and I'm up against it. I am down by 20 boards but only 5 points, these will be the swing cats.

My team: Curry, Ingles, JRich, Tobias, Vuc, PBev, Crowder, Prince, Gobert, Hield, Bogdan, Kelly O, Poeltl
Opponent's team: Beal, Grant, Ibaka, Drummond, Davis, Adams, BLopez, Shai, Collins, Lauri, Bagley, Dotson, Ed Davis

My question is, do I give up going for boards and go for points instead? Two games of Drummond doesn't bode well...

I have two acquisitions left and was planning on using them both on the last day, but wondering if I should cut my losses and bring in Van Vleet for Poeltl (2 games left, Lowry out). Other scorers on the wire with 2 games are: House Jr, Belinelli, Mills, Caruso, Danny Green (slim pickings)

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

Just an FYI, Kelly O is out for the season, so he’s a drop (unfortunately for us both), if you mean give up on boards by “cutting your losses,” then, yes, I’d go. VanVleet and Danny.

Ahh I meant Olynyk not Oubre, my bad! I do mean giving up on boards as cutting my losses.
Does that change your answer?

Also who else should I drop apart from Poeltl?

Oh ok, gotchya. Well based off his strong rebounders; Drummond, Ibaka, Davis, Adams, Collins, Markkanen, Bagley, Ed Davis vs your Gobert, Vooch and a few fringe boarders, I think taking rebounds might be a stretch. So if you're going to switch your focus to scoring, I still like those guys I mentioned above. For me, the drops would probably be Poeltl (since chasing boards and blocks in this matchup is probably a moot point), and I would probably drop Bogdan only because he's been pretty cold ever since Bagley came back.

Hear you loud and clear. My only issue is Poeltl and Bogdan have 4 games left (2 each) which I'd be swapping for four games of Van Vleet and Green.

Is it better to drop Crowder and Olynyk on the last day (they aren't playing) and bring in them then to take advantage of the extra games?

I like that last idea. Maximize games. Though Poeltl really doesn't score much, so not sure holding on there is worth it.

I vote for this plan:
"Is it better to drop Crowder and Olynyk on the last day (they aren’t playing) and bring in them then to take advantage of the extra games?"
Good luck!

Thanks for all of the tips guys! Green was a great pick up went off for 19 pts against OKC.

It's come down to the final day (I'm up by 35 pts). Who is the best pick up for points tomorrow?
Ellington, Bellinelli, House Jr, Mills, Monte Morris, Malik Beasley

Even though he bottomed out tonight, I think I’d place my bet on Ellington to be the most likely of the group to score 12-22 or so with 3-5 triples mixed in.

I agree with the Capt. I would go with Ellington.

I ended up losing my match up today by a single point! (1329 to 1328)
Ellington laid an absolute egg today against GSW (3 points) and Danny Green scored 2 points as well, which cost me in the end.
Thank you guys so much for all of the advice, no way I would have been this close without the great content you have up here.
Time to try and lock in 3rd place!

Sorry brother! That sucks! Ellington crushed me in DFS as well 🙁
Lock in that 3rd place spot! That's still a very good season!
