I'm upset because I thought he'd have a huge opener. But he'll recover and he'll have a huge opener in a few weeks.

My only fear is lingering impact of a concussion, but we don't know that he has one or how severe. He didn't hurt a knee or shoulder or ankle, so when he feels right he can just pop right back in.

My advice to anyone wondering ... just sit tight. It'll be okay. The NBA season is LOOOOOOOOOONG. Longer than ever before, in fact..

I think if you have an IR slot you put Niko in there and get Lauri as a flier for a couple weeks. If there's no IR I would still hold onto Niko if you can, but if you already have a ton of injured players and need help now I would think hard about dropping him.

Personally I had to let him go with Kawhi being uncertain and Holmes out + Embiid ready to fall at a moment's notice. I guess I got my streaming spot now..

how is it possible that you can cause a team mate to have multiple fractures. Portis should get jailed for this.

My guess is that the multiple fractures are probably to the same bone/area. The websites I'm reading talk about an incision to reset the bone, and then 2-4 weeks where eating is rather tough and pain is pretty severe. This is looking like a month, but let's wait on the Bulls to give an official timetable.

If I had to GUESS, I'd say 4 weeks. I'm not dropping him in any format.

The SAFEST of those guys is Thad. Ingles and J-Rich have the more intriguing upside, but in terms of replacing Niko's 3's/boards combo, there isn't a true answer.
