Here are today’s, notes Hoop Ballers
DFS notes for 10/31/19
Heat: fresh team. Butler an option
T. Herro, for good late gm min.
Hawks: J. Parker off bench wait for starting LU
E. Turner out
Bembry May be the guy on B2B gm, Reddish interesting
Nuggs: Joker and Barton good plays, Murray GP only could play Plumlee
Pelicans: Ingram must play, Favors out, start Okafor or J. Hayes
Spurs: Aldridge over Derozen, value: B. Forbes
LAC: Leonard big game ready rested, use Lou and/or Harrel for great stack
Trae Young (sprained right ankle) will not play on Thursday against the Heat, as expected.
The good news here is that the Hawks are off until next Tuesday and while Young appeared to be in a good amount of pain after turning his ankle, he didn't experience much swelling, so he might only miss a few games. He's going to be re-evaluated on Monday, and while we wouldn't anticipate him getting cleared for next Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs, it seems there's a real possibility he'll play on Wednesday against the Bulls. Evan Turner (Achilles) is doubtful for tonight's game, so Cam Reddish may be operating as the defacto PG vs. Miami.
Just keep cashing!
Just keep cashing!
Justise Winslow questionable Thursday.
Winslow has been downgraded to questionable with a stiff lower back Thursday. The Heat are already without Dion Waiters, Derrick Jones Jr. (groin), and KZ Okpala (Achilles). Goran Dragic has served as the backup point guard this season and could see an increase in minutes should Winslow be downgraded to out.
Will Barton (toe injury) is questionable to play tonight, in his absence Torrey Craig would start,
look for confirmation closer to tip off time.
Dejounte Murray said he will play on Thursday vs. the Clippers and sit out Friday's game against the Warriors.
Murray is going to be held out of back-to-back sets early on this season in addition to dealing with a minutes limit, but those restrictions should ease up as we get closer to the postseason. Despite dealing with the minutes cap, he's been playing quite well this season, so he's safe to activate everywhere. Derrick White will likely get the start tomorrow night, and he's worth owning, particularly if you already have Murray.
Will Barton questionable Thursday.
Barton has been downgraded to questionable with left toe inflammation Thursday.
Kendrick Nunn will start at PG on Thursday in place of Justise Winslow (lower back).
