Early Player News:
Malik Beasley (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Nets.
Beasley sat out Tuesday's game, and we didn't hear about him practicing on Wednesday, so there's a chance he'll need to sit out this one too. Check back for another update following shootaround.

Chandler Parsons (knee) is doubtful for Thursday against the Suns.
He had been listed as out up until now, so maybe Parsons enters the rotation now that Kevin Huerter (shoulder) is out.

Alex Len (left ankle) is probable for Thursday's game in Phoenix.
He's been playing through the ankle injury the past few games without issue, and we'd anticipate more of the same on Thursday night.

Vince Carter (personal reasons) will not play on Thursday.
He's out another game for personal reasons, and his absence is more meaningful than usual because Kevin Huerter and Evan Turner are also unavailable.
Cam Reddish (shoulder) is probable, so expect to see plenty of him and De'Andre Hunter.
Cam Reddish (left shoulder) is probable for Thursday against the Suns.

The Hawks continue to list him as probable with this shoulder injury, so he is fully expected to play. With Kevin Huerter (shoulder) out for at least one game, Reddish should be looking at additional minutes.

David Fizdale will ease Dennis Smith Jr. back into the rotation after he took two weeks off due to the death of his stepmother.
DSJ logged just six minutes off the bench on Tuesday, and Fizdale said he'll continue to play him in "small doses" as he regains his rhythm.

Kevin Porter Jr. (left hip) is questionable for Thursday against the Heat.
He was limping after a fall on Tuesday and had to go to the locker room, but he did return to the game. He has been Cedi Osman's backup for the most part.

Matt Dellavedova (right calf) is questionable for Thursday against the Heat.
Delly is not going to get more than the backup guard minutes anyway.

Elfrid Payton (right hamstring) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Mavericks.
He hasn't played since October, and there haven't been any reports of him getting through a practice, so we have to assume he's still not close. Frank Ntilikina will continue to hold down the fort at the PG spot until Payton gets back.

Kevin Huerter (left shoulder) will miss at least Thursday's game in Phoenix.
He will travel back to Atlanta, so presumably he will miss Saturday and Sunday action against the Los Angeles teams. Huerter's shoulder injury in Denver was a scary one and he is getting further testing on an MRI, so it's possible he misses several games beyond the weekend. Without him, DeAndre Bembry should benefit most with more minutes for Cam Reddish and maybe Tyrone Wallace.

Jahlil Okafor (left ankle) is questionable vs. the Clippers on Thursday.
Now that Derrick Favors has been able to see more minutes, Okafor has used situationally more often with some DNP-CDs over the last week. If he's out, that should get Jaxson Hayes in the rotation.

Josh Hart (left knee sprain, left ankle sprain) will not play on Thursday against the Clippers.
He did suffer an injury on Monday night, but Hart was able to play through it and hopefully he won't need much time off. This is tough news for Hart and it's unknown how long he could miss, but this isn't the same knee that was a problem for him last year. With Lonzo Ball also out, Kenrich Williams should see all he can handle while we should see more J.J. Redick, E'Twaun Moore, Frank Jackson and maybe more Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

Mitchell Robinson (concussion) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Mavs.
He's been out since Nov. 6 after catching an elbow to the face in Detroit. Robinson was starting to see more minutes prior to this injury with a season-high 25 minutes on Nov. 3, so hopefully he can get back out there soon for added playing time. If not, Kevin Knox, Taj Gibson and Damyean Dotson should more minutes in the rotation.

Kyrie Irving (right shoulder impingement) is questionable to play against the Nuggets on Thursday.
It's a new injury for Irving after putting up 27 points in 37 minutes against the Jazz on Tuesday. Irving was out there for the final minutes of the loss, so it may have been something he was playing through. With Caris LeVert (thumb) already out, the Nets are going to have lean heavily on Spencer Dinwiddie even before worrying about Irving. If Irving can't go, Dzanan Musa, David Nwaba and Theo Pinson may also see more playing time.

Otto Porter (left foot sprain) will remain on the sidelines for Thursday's game in Milwaukee.
Jim Boylen did say that Porter has shown signs of improvement, but he was again held out of Wednesday's practice, so we'll consider him doubtful for Saturday's game against the Nets as well. Chandler Hutchison has started the past two games sans Porter, but he's been hit-or-miss and doesn't offer very much upside.

Zach LaVine (sprained ankle) did not practice on Wednesday but he is probable to play on Thursday against the Bucks.
LaVine got the day off after rolling his ankle on Tuesday, but it doesn't sound like he'll miss any game-time action. Owners can expect to get another update following today's shootaround, but he's on track to play.

James Johnson (illness) is probable to play on Thursday against the Cavs.
He sat out Tuesday' game, but it looks like he'll be back in action on Thursday night and he could see quality minutes with Justise Winslow (concussion) and Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) out.

Goran Dragic (illness) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Cavs.
Dragic hasn't missed a game yet this season, and with Justise Winslow (concussion) already ruled out and Tyler Herro (ankle) questionable, the Heat sure could use The Dragon tomorrow night. We'll have a better idea on his status following tomorrow's shootaround, but if he can't play, Kendrick Nunn won't have much of an opportunity to leave the floor.

Tyler Herro (ankle) and Goran Dragic (illness) are questionable to play on Thursday in Cleveland.
Herro skipped Tuesday's game with the ankle injury, but the good news is that he's traveling to Cleveland for Thursday's game, so we should get another update following tomorrow's shootaround. If both he and Goran Dragic aren't able to give it a go, Jimmy Butler and Kendrick Nunn will likely be flirting with close to 40 minutes.

Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Cleveland.
It'll be Jones Jr.'s third consecutive game on the sidelines, and for now, we'll be considering him questionable for Saturday's game against the Pelicans.

Justise Winslow (concussion) and Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) will not travel to Cleveland for Thursday's game.
Thursday will mark Winslow's fourth straight game on the sidelines due to the concussion, and if he's not able to practice prior to Saturday's game against the Pelicans, he'll likely sit out that one as well. Tyler Herro (ankle) and Goran Dragic (sick) are also questionable for Thursday's game, so Jimmy Butler and Kendrick Nunn could be extremely busy tonight, while Duncan Robinson will earn another start.

Lonzo Ball (right adductor strain) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers.
Thursday will make Ball's third straight game on the sidelines, but he's expected to make it back to the lineup for Saturday's game against the Heat. Kenrich Williams and Josh Hart figure to log heavy minutes again on Thursday if Ingram is forced to join Ball on the sidelines, while Jrue Holiday will be tasked with some more playmaking responsibilities.

Brandon Ingram (right knee soreness) will be a game-time decision on Thursday against the Clippers.
Ingram said that he hyperextended his knee during Saturday's game in Charlotte and he felt some pain in his knee on Monday, which is why he sat out that game, but he doesn't believe it's a big deal or that he'll be out that long. He was spotted going through some individual work while rocking a knee brace following Wednesday's practice, but he'll have a better idea on his status following Thursday's shootaround

Evan Turner ruled out for Thursday.
The Hawks continue to list Cam Reddish (shoulder) as probable, while Alex Len (ankle) is also probable for Thursday. Kevin Huerter (shoulder), Evan Turner (Achilles), and Vince Carter (personal) have all been ruled out.

That's it for now but stay tunes because there is more news to come this afternoon.
