One day I'm going to just blindly follow you guys when I can actually get caught up enough...
Coach David Fizdale said that Elfrid Payton (strained right hamstring) will miss Sunday's game vs. Sacramento in addition to Friday's game vs. Boston.
Fizdale purportedly indicated that Payton's injury was "not a minor hamstring strain." This is discouraging news, as hamstring injuries can linger if not allowed to heal properly. With Dennis Smith Jr. (personal) still away from the team, Frank Ntilikina will start at point guard on Friday.Wayne Ellington will be bumped back to the bench Friday night vs. the Celtics.
Ellington started on Wednesday against the Magic but was a dud. He shot just 1-of-8 from the field for two points with two rebounds in 19 minutes. Frank Ntilikina will replace him in the starting lineup on Friday.Robert Williams (hip bursitis) is doubtful for Friday's game vs. New York.
This is a new injury for Williams, who has been relatively ineffective this season. Enes Kanter (bruised left knee) has already been ruled out for Friday's game, so the C's may be shorthanded up front. Fortunately, Daniel Theis (left ankle sprain) is expected to be available Friday night.Coach Brad Stevens said that Jaylen Brown (illness) is "doubtful to out" for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.
Brown was unable to participate in shootaround on Friday, and it looks like he'll miss his second straight game. Marcus Smart started against the Bucks on Wednesday, making 7-of-16 from the field for 19 points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, no turnovers, and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes. Smart will likely draw another start on Friday if/when Brown is ruled out and will be an intriguing DFS option.Frank Ntilikina will start at point guard in Friday's game vs. the Celtics.
Frank Ntilikina will start in place of Wayne Ellington, shifting RJ Barrett over to shooting guard. David Fizdale told reporters that he likes the way Ntilikina has been running the offense and defending "and referenced the idea that the Knicks have to face Kemba Walker tonight in Boston." With both Dennis Smith Jr. (personal) and Elfird Payton (hamstring) sidelined, Frank should see 30+ minutes on Friday, assuming he can stay out of foul trouble.Harry Giles (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.
Giles has yet to make his 2019-20 season debut but does appear headed in the right direction. However, even if he's able to stay healthy, he's unlikely to earn consistent minutes off the Kings bench.
Nerlens Noel doesn't practice Friday.
Noel didn't practice Friday but did some individual skill work, according to coach Donovan. His status is unclear ahead of Saturday's game vs. the Pelicans as he deals with a sore foot, which he suffered during Wednesday's loss after getting stepped on.
Steven Adams questionable for Saturday.
Adams didn't practice Friday and is considered questionable in advance of Saturday's game vs. the Pelicans. He sat out of Wednesday's loss due to a knee contusion, and Nerlens Noel got the start in his place.
Robert Williams doubtful Friday.
Jaylen Brown offically ruled out for tonight.
Myles Turner is OUT for the Pacers
TJ Leaf will enter the starting lineup. this is great for Sabonis, our guy today. In 1400 minutes dating back to the start of last season, Sabonis has rising PPG from 1.25 to 1.31 without Turner. Leaf has averaged 0.87 DK PPM dating back to last season, so he could hit value at his price tag for your stars and scrubs LU's.
Be careful if considering any of these guys for cash:
D. Rose: still having hammy issues, not likely to get big min.
Guys out for CAVS: John Henson, Ante Zizic, and Matthew Dellavedova.
This means boosts to the big guys, and consideration for the guards in GP's'The usage leader on the CAVS is Jordan Clarkson (25.2%)
Also,
No team has allowed more points per possession to opposing pick and roll ball handlers than the Cavs. Cleveland ranked second-worst last year.
I’m playing 3 rockets in 1 LU including House in cash . Too much value
