Really on the fence here. I had him last year and he was so solid. I'm very close to dropping him and using that roster spot as a streamer, it's a pretty deep and competitive 12 team league. People currently on waivers as of this moment include: Rozier, Crabbe, Harrell, PatBev, Jaylen Brown. I feel like Collison is a hold over those guys, but if I'm using the roster spot as a streamer, I'm not really comparing him to those guys ROS anyway. Am I being too panicky and should hold? Appreciate any thoughts or opinions, thanks in advance...
That waiver isn't particularly strong. I actually liked Collison's game yesterday. If he makes his normal 46-49% of shots and all 4 free throws, it's a perfect Darren night (would have been about 10-12 pts, 4 reb, 6 asst, 2 steals, maybe 1 threeball). As it was, he missed his shots so the line looked worse. I happen to believe he'll be fine.
Fair enough, but I also worry about minutes. Granted 4 games is a small sample size, but his minutes looking trending down from high 20s / low 30s to mid 20s / low 20s over previous years. I suppose that doesn't matter as much because his value comes more from efficiency as opposed to usage, but he's testing my patience. I guess I'll hold him for another 3-5 games and re-assess.
