Disclaimer: I am in a 12 team H2H points league. I've locked up a 1st round bye in the playoffs, and, unfortunately, our playoffs go well into silly season.
That said, the next week that actually matters for me begins on March 30th, so I've got time to dial in my roster. Here's what I have, along w/ their 15 day averages.
Conley - 15.6
N. Powell - 24.4
Covington - 18.9
TJ Warren - 17.6
Larry Nance Jr - 19.1
Jrue Holiday - 26.4
Markelle Fultz - 14.6
Malik Beasley - 18.8
Harden - 23.6
CP3 - 22.8
LaVine 22.7
Markkanen - 10.3
Fournier (IR) - 17.8
I'm pretty comfortable keeping everyone up here, Fultz is more of an emotional thing for me, but with Fournier out, I feel like his ceiling is a little higher. On Lauri, I'm definitely holding, especially after his last game.
I don't necessarily need to make any roster moves right now, but, when that time comes, here is who I have below the cut line (for the time being).
Naz Reid - 13.2
Gary Harris - 14.1
Buddy Hield (Bubble) - 14.8
So my question is this, do you see any of the following having a higher ceiling than the guys above, or am I just splitting hairs ? I've got 3 weeks to figure this one out.
Shabazz
Bazemore
Rose (If/When he comes back)
Brandon Knight (if Rose doesn't come back)
Baynes (who I'm assuming is done w/ Ayton returns)
Oubre is also on the wire, but I don't think he'll be back in any reasonable roll before seasons end.
What’s silly is that you have Hield on the cut line. Shabazz has some possible upside but not sure at what cost?
Maybe you're right. I just don't feel comfortable with his minutes continuing to trend down.
Over the last 30 days in my league, from an average perspective....he is the lowest on my team, outside of the guys below the cut line, Lauri, Fultz (who is going to get more run w/ no Fournier) and Conley.
I think you're right though, there just may not be any better options without a major shift in someones role down the stretch
If Rose comes back at any point he could eclipse Harris and Reid, but tough to say if he's returning...
