Got one for you guys. Chris Paul's fantasy season has basically been as best-case-scenario as possible thus far. He's playing at a first-round level, he seems healthy and engaged, the Thunder are actually good with a decent shot at a playoff spot...so is this the time to sell on him?

It's gone so well for him to this point that the idea of selling feels really hard to justify, but isn't that the best time to try and sell a player exceeding expecations? The H2H component that I'm framing this in also plays a role here. An end of season shutdown seems less likely at this point, but the injury risk still exists.

What would you guys do? Would you try to move off of him and if so who for?

I’m having a similar problem. I’m trying to trade him but given the Thunder’s playoff position I also don’t want to sell him too low.

Biggest problem is that no one is willing to give fair value for him. I haven’t even been able to get late second rounders/early third rounders for him and I don’t think you should sell for anything less than that.

What I’ve recently been doing is trying to pair him with another second/third rounder and trying to get a top 10-15 stud but that hasn’t been working either. I think we will just have to short sell him or just ride it out and pray he doesn’t get injured .

His situation is like Holmes in the sense that people in most leagues does not think he is worth what he produces. So, in this case, I would not sell him(I would sell him high tho). And if I were in some leagues in which I do not own him, I would try to buy him low.

In roto? Nah. H2H? Yeah, probably. Someone inside the top-30 seems fair as targets go!

Really does seem like we've had very similar experiences here. I've also been trying to get comparable value back in a 2-for-2 and have been rebuffed on all of them. My last ditch effort right now is seeing if I can pull off a deal where I get Kemba and Thomas Bryant, but I have my doubts there too. Given how good he's been any deal that is less than a 2nd rounder back feels like a loss. I think I'd rather ride him out than sell him short.

Interesting comparison, I do think you're right that people don't realize just how dominant he's been this year. It's either that, fear of him missing time (like I fear) or both.

Oh yeah in Roto I wouldn't even bother, would feel like I've more than made my money back on him at this point. But these damn playoff formats...

I couldn’t get Kemba straight up. Lol. Most recent trades to get turned down were Donovan mitchell for CP3 straight up, and Towns for Collins/CP3 turned down (thought I was overpaying there )

Should've specified that I was also going to include Bledsoe in that package but also unsure if I'd even want to go that far. Feels like I'd be underselling on two guys if Bryant doesn't play better once he returns.

And man just imagine the irony of that Towns offer if things just go completely south with his knee situation. I assume it won't but could you imagine lol.
