Alright I'll start it off.

My newest trade idea!

His Ben Simmons and JJJ for my Whiteside and Otto Porter.

I need more assists, which this helps a bunch on, and with the steals and blocks from Simmons and JJJ, I think it should cover most of the blocks upside of Whiteside. Plus as JJJ gets more used to playing in NBA, I feel like his rebs should come up a bit more, and him plus Simmons would mean not losing rebounds by that much either.

Plus, Simmons ft% sucks, but it's about equal to Whiteside, so shouldn't affect me too much week to week I don't think.

(I can afford to lose a few rebs per week if I can gain the assists)

I'm trying to convince the guy that he should be punting assists (because he really, really should, considering Simmons is his only assists guy and his 1st rounder is Lillard, great punt assists PG to build round), and telling him that Whiteside in a ft% punt is 1st rounder. (He also has Dwight, so he's def punting ft% whether he likes it or not).

I guess my question would be... IF Otto gets back to playing like we all know he can (basically last year's Otto minus a few rebs), how does this trade work out for me?

I like the out of the box thinking for acquiring assists, but not this iteration of a trade.

Bringing in a guy like Simmons on to your team introduces second and third order effects that can be hard to predict outside of the obvious loss of threes and boost in assists. This dynamic is even more unknown since Jimmy will be arriving shortly.

But lets say for sake of argument that Simmons lesser sched, FT and 3s and more counting stats and Porter's (assuming return to norm) better sched, 3s and better 9-cat efficency cancel out.

Then youre Trading Hassan's top-45 value so far on the season for a relative unknown with top-115 value right now. Thus you;re betting JJJ (with less desirable h2h sched) will increase value that much?

That is a bet I wouldn't take.

You'd be losing a lot of pts, 3s and assists and FT% and gaining FG, fewer TO, more rebs and blocks.

Ayton has better 9-cat value so far but you should consider what kind of team you'd have and if that's what you want.

Since you already have lots of low usage guys you would be going with a punt points and would have to be competitive in all 3 efficiency cats.

If you trade Booker and punt points and also trade Murray you;re punting points and assists but Bledsoe fits that build better.

With Slo-Mo, JJJ and Robinson you already have three slow-starters and low-usage guy. Do you want another in Isaac?

Seems like overkill to me.

Booker has been banged up and not playing that well and KAT is about to take off so you;d probably have to give up to much to make it favorable on your end.

Trying to pry AD away from an owner to pair with my KAT.

Offered Kawhi and Gasol, and almost got him to accept.

Team is: Conley, Kawhi, Mirotic, D. Green, Turner, Siakam, KAT, M.Gasol, Lamn, Collison, Barton, Dunn, Payton.

Would you try AD + Teague for Kawhi, Gasol and Turner? Or does this throw the team balance out too much?

Should I try to pack Simmons + DSJ/Randle/McCollum for a better guy? I'm afraid Simmons will lose value with Butler in town, and I don't really need his assists with Lowry Lebron and Doncic.

Thinking about someone like Oladipo, PG, Jokic maybe
