Hey Adrian and Neil!
First and foremost, I wanted to tell you guys that you guys are rocking it! And seriously the show sounds so much more smoother and two of you sound so much more comfortable now, compared to when I first started listening. And, of course, we can't forget the mountain of help you guys give in going through the boxscore every. single. day.
I did have one thing I wanted to mention, from my experience listening to the show.
I think the show would go even smoother if the person 'leading' the podcast/boxscores didn't go through everything, including how they feel about each player, all at once. It makes the listening experience almost as if I'm listening two separate podcasters, just spliced together into one show.
I know that you two have great chemistry (and banter) when I hear you two going back and forth during the intros and such, so I see it as a negative to be missing that in the boxscores portion of the show. Repeatedly, I find situations where one person is going through the boxscores, says their opinions, and I can literally feel through the podcast that the other person wants to say something, but they don't lol.
I think it would genuinely be more helpful to listeners to have both people's take at the same time. We can either hear the two of you agreeing, therefore leading to a stronger take, or hear you disagreeing, therefore giving a greater perspective on the take, both right at the moment. That way, there isn't a chance that one of you might forget to say what you were thinking later, plus, the listener can get the entire take in one spot, therefore simplifying the experience.
For me, I see two solutions.
1) The 'lead' person goes through each game's boxscores quickly as possible and with no added thoughts or opinions. After going through either one team's set of boxscores or both (depending on how the best timing works for it; perhaps reading out the entire two teams' worth of boxscores might be too much at once), both Neil and Adrian input their opinions afterwards.
2) As the game's boxscores are being read out and the 'lead' person is inputting their opinions, the other person also adds rebuttals and/or agreements at the same time.
I do think that scenario 1 might work a little bit better than 2, as I'm sure the reason the current state of how the podcast works is to try to streamline reading out the many, many boxscores all at once. Having both people inputting opinions would probably make things go a bit too slow to get through all the boxscores.
Keep in mind that these are just my own personal opinions, and others could feel completely different from me. I thought it might be useful to pass this on so you guys can have the feedback necessary to make the best decision for the show.
Hope this was helpful!
Very thoughtful review!
Hi Deki,
Thank you for the kind words and stellar advice.
I greatly appreciate the insight. I want the show to be great and your opinion helps.
Cheers!

Hi Deki,
Thanks so much for listening to the show and for taking the time to write such thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate your insight as it's hard for me to hear the show from a listener's perspective. I think you have some great ideas and I will discuss them with Adrian.
