Thanks, but not that helpful since I have my first ever auction draft (14 team) tonight lol.
4th year member here and love the Fantasy NBA Today pod.

I have made my 1st last year.

My advice: be patient with your money. There is good value at the end. Auction draft is far longer than snake draft.

I'd suggest running some basic statistics on the projections in the draft guide.

If you take an approach of taking each players stat-avg of that stat /std deviation you'll get a feel for how far above/below the average they are in that statistic. Sum these values to give you a feel for player values.

Then look at how many players in your draft and sum top players which fill your draft to work out a rough $/value for each player.

It will give you a feel for relative value, noting the top players are likely to sell at a premium to the number you calculate, and the bottom.end you should be able to buy guys for less than this calculated value.
