Have the chance to keep either Derrick White for $1, or Jon Isaac for $14 based on the bid price it was drafted at from previous season. Draft budget of default $200 will be reduced accordingly based on keepers chosen before draft.
Who would you guys choose? I like White because there's almost no risk for $1 (treat it like other 12 round pick). I like Isaac too for the breakout upside but there's a slight chance that he may slide this auction draft given his low key preseason, so it may not cost as much as $14 this season..

How deep is your league?
In a recent 10team (130 player) isaac went for well under $14.
15 team (195 players). So the draft budget is higher in a sense... Coupled with keeper feature. Most players kept steals from previous season e.g. siakam for $4, embiid for $43, so will be more generous in their bidding. So man, hard to predict the price for high upside guys like isaac...
So, how much did J.I. go for last year? Am I understanding correctly that you'd have to pay last year's price PLUS $14...or $14 total? He's going to be a stud, and I would be doing whatever I could to keep him. Also, I wouldn't say his preseason has been low-key - he's put up some beastly stat lines.
Also, I'm not a fan of Derrick White...or Dejounte Murray for what it's worth. The fact that we anticipate a time share between the two is not great for the value of either player. And now with what we're seeing in the preseason...with White coming off the bench for about 15 minutes with negligible stat lines...I am zero percent excited about his outlook. Granted it's preseason and should be taken with a grain of salt, but I'm not claiming any SA guard not named DeMar.
J.I. went for $14 last year, and will cost $14 to keep.
True that. I agree with the white outlook completely but is just $1, can be dropped eventually for any hot waiver when season starts. But for J.I. with $14.. it has higher risk and has to be right in a sense hahah. I'm thinking of either keeping J.I or just not keep any and go into the draft with an additional slot.
For J.I. at only $14, I think that's money in the bank, brother. He should easily be a 1/1/1 guy (triples/steals/blocks), with good chance of being even better than that. He's like a watered-down, but much-more-healthy Robert Covington, and RoCo is going in the 4th round of a lot of drafts. For $14 out of your total $200, I think that's a steal. If you can keep White in addition to him for $1, sure, give it a roll of the dice, but if you can only have one or the other, I'd be salivating over J.I.
