I have the 1st pick in my upcoming draft. With big man stats at an all-time premium this season, would it be wise to spend my first 3 picks locking down big men? Any other strategies? 14 Team ESPN H2H
Thank you in advance!

Eric Gordon Hou - SG
Marvin Williams Cha - SF,PF
Anthony Davis NO - PF,C
Clint Capela Hou - PF,C

Nope. I think getting a big with a top-3 pick is nice, since those bigs are incredible, but I wouldn't be overly concerned about getting your other big in the 2nd round. In fact, I'd venture to say the dropoff in PG quality is even more severe...
Agree with Dan. Would want an assist guy with 2nd pick. Perhaps John Wall?
Steve - Not very high on Wall but I've seen Lowry available in mocks. Definitely would consider best available at the time.
Dan & Aaron - Who would be your choice for first pick?
PG - Steph is Steph
SG - Harden but a tad high on the TOs
SF - Giannis - Eastern conference
PF - Durant has all around game and is in a contract year
C - Davis contract year as well
Capela is fine but overkill with Gasol (plus I dont like Gasol in H2H- DNP risk and garbage playoff schedule for H2H, at least for Yahoo).
I'm still just happily taking AD any time I can get him.
Chef, you're completely right. I'm better off with taking the best available PG with that 2nd pick.
Lowry is good as well. Further down I hope for Kris Dunn.
