The kid looks really great and not only as a scorer. Real bull who can get steals + blocks and get to the FT line a lot and knock em down. I think he is not even on the roster yet but I ahve watched NYK games, I know its only pre season but he looks way better than any other player on that team besides Kanter! If kid keeps goin he can eventually get shot at decent minutes, it might be crowded at PG position in NYK but the competition is weak + Fizdale seems to be loving Trier's energy and defensive effort. What you think guys?

I think the PG spot in NY could be pretty fluid, Frankie Smokes may slide over to the 2 and I don’t think Burke deserves to be locked in at the 1 and Mudiay and Baker aren’t basketball players of any note, Trier has had some pretty healthy stat lines in the pre season, definitely one to pop on the watch list

Thanks for the advice on the Rate my Team thread. I was thinking of dropping Fred VV for Trey Burke but preseason numbers haven't been encouraging although a lot of info I have now tells me to add him due to projections. However, Trier might actually end up getting a contract since the other Knick guards are tentpoles anyway, or so it seems.
