12-team H2H 9 cat. Team is stronger in Rebounds, Blocks, turnovers. Need help in points, steals, 3s. Punting assists pretty much, but losing by about 15-20 assists a week. Who do you add as your last man for ROS value (assuming position needs met)?
-Kelly Oubre Jr
-PJ Tucker/ James Ennis
-Ariza
-Taj Gibson
-Okobo
-Arcidiacono
As I'm typing this...I wonder who is the most 'stable' or easiest path to value, and who has the highest upside? Trier and Holmes were left off the list
Thanks fam,
I'd say Ariza is the most stable of that group, and might even have the highest upside too (boring as he is). Last year he was the 60th ranked player on a per game basis, and the year before that he was 39th. So his upside is proven. There's no one else on that list I'd say is as likely as he is to reach those ranks.
Steals and 3's point me toward Ariza or PJ Tucker, with Tucker getting the rebounding edge, and Ariza the scoring edge between the two.
Thanks gentlemen. Is it bad for me to want to pick up Oubre for the potential upside (i.e. massive trade)? I almost feel compelled to shoot for upside when it's the last spot on the bench...
Wizards also have a 4-4-4 fantasy playoff schedule in standard H2H formats, so that would be another point in Oubre's favor (if your league is on the same playoff sched anyway). Suns go 3-3-3, so on that basis you could certainly defend going with Oubre over Ariza.
Good point. I think I need to actually force myself to sit through a wiz game to see Oubre's touches and to understand why he keeps posting duds.
Thanks again guys
