The Pelicans are half of a game away from top spot after two big wins against the Warriors (sans their starters) and a tanking Spurs team. Our stars in BI and Zion came to play and thumped the opposition teams. Lyle breaks down the two great victories!

The Celtics handed the Pelicans 20 three pointers in Friday's 117-109 loss. A 40 point first quarter sealed it for the Celtics early, with the Pelicans valiantly trying to fight back but falling short. Lyle recaps the game.

The Pelicans move to 9-6 behind a career night for Trey Murphy III (19pt/10rb/3stl) against the visiting Bulls. A great contribution from a multitude of guys resulted in 30 assists as a team and 17 made 3 pointers. A wonderful win that will hopefully build into more! Lyle recaps the victory!

The CJ we knew was there came to play today, dumping a 30p/9ast night on a rambunctious Grizzlies team celebrating the return of Jaren Jackson Junior. It was a great team win with cameos from a number of players. Lyle celebrates!

The Pelicans had a tumultuous weekend, with a loss to an undermanned Blazers team and tried really hard to lose against the Rockets before pulling out the victory behind Jose's brilliance. Lyle discusses the games.

The Pelicans finally get to go home after defeating Chicago in Chicago 111-115. It was a tale of two halves with the bench firing on all cylinders in the first and then the stars shone in the last quarter to steer us home. Lyle discusses how it all transpired.

On the second night of a back to back, the Pelicans fought from over 10 down to force overtime but fell short behind heroics from Murray and Young and some sloppy execution. Lyle discusses the unfortunate loss.

The Pelicans had a quick pit stop at the SKC to pick up Herb and BI and to take on an undermanned Warriors team. Whilst it wasn't pretty, the Pelicans won 114-105 behind 26 from BI. Lyle breaks down the victory!

Well that was not ideal, the Pelicans play like garbage and lose to the Lakers in OT. Lyle speaks frankly.

The Pelicans continued their visit out west with a lunch time tip off against the Clippers. Buoyed by the return of Zion Williamson, the Pelicans started sluggish but finished strong behind big games from Z and CJ and another great performance by the stand-ins Naji and Trey. Lyle discusses the win!

Before the game we were told that BI, Z and Herb were all out against the Mavericks. The Pelicans were up against it with spot starters, Jose, Naji and Trey, filling in. What transpired was amazing, the next man up mentality was harnessed and the Pelicans sent the Mavs home with a loss, winning 111-113. Lyle celebrates as the Pels go 3-1!

JV and the Big Threesy teamed up Avengers style, to form the Fantastic Feaux (all credit to Dalton (@Daltoid16) for the name!). The Hornets were no match for our Pelicans as they stormed home to win 124-112. Lyle recaps the game and gives some thoughts on gatekeeping basketball podcasts.
