  1. You guys are on the record as being extremely bearish on TM3. After the toe injury you recommended dropping him b/c you didn’t see compelling value in him on the bench – despite him putting up top 60 value at the time on 27 mins per night and despite the fact that if anyone in the starting 5 gets injured he starts. Will be interesting to see if your thesis plays out or he keeps proving you guys wrong.

    1. In the games when the team was fully healthy, he was not inside the top-100. That said, someone on the team has been hurt almost every game (which is precisely what I said in this show), so he’s obviously someone you keep rostered until the team’s health gives you a reason to do otherwise. Maybe they’re not healthy all season? If that happens, he stays valuable all year. Ingram is always out for something. CJ’s been banged up last few years. Zion is a big injury risk. Just because I don’t think he has value when all 5 starters are in doesn’t make me “extremely bearish”… it makes me someone who sees the nuance in what a player’s role is in different scenarios. If you wanted to hold him all year and play him any time someone is hurt, that’s also fine. I just don’t understand the defensive posture of your post here, is sorta where I’m coming from.

    2. I will say, though, I appreciate the discussion. I just think you’ve misinterpreted my stance… or just exaggerated it from “doesn’t think he’s a games cap worthy guy as a bench player” to “extremely bearish”… maybe you can help me understand how you made that leap and I can see if maybe my word choice did it or something else.
