Logan Webb OVER 6.0 Pitcher Strikeouts

The Giants’ ace has been a little bit better at home, averaging 7.125 strikeouts per game with a 2.36 ERA in SF compared to 6.0 strikeouts per game and a 4.24 ERA on the road. Webb’s last start was one of his best of the season, striking out 11 against the Mariners.

Juan Soto OVER 7.0 Hitter Fantasy Score

It will be Juan Soto vs. Max Scherzer today, a few years removed from when they won the title together in Washington. They have faced off before, and in seven at-bats, Soto has hit a home run and drawn four walks off of Mad Max. Soto has had a quietly effective year and had reached base safely in 23 straight games before the game on Saturday.

Kyle Freeland OVER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed

Kyle Freeland is a much different pitcher on the road. He has only been able to strike out 17 batters in 44.1 innings away from Coors. Freeland has a 5.89 ERA on the road and is averaging only 3.28 Ks/game at Oracle Park in seven starts over his career. I’m leaning towards over on earned runs, but LOWER than 4.0 Ks is a viable play as well. Freeland has given up three or more earned runs in four straight starts.

    Gary Sanchez OVER 0.5 Hits

Sanchez has gotten a hit in the first two games of this series against his former club. Given that Sanchez caught these pitchers at the beginning of the year, Sanchez has some insight on how these guys prefer to attack batters.

Kris Bryant OVER 0.5 Total HITs

Since Bryant came back off a month-long IL stint, he has gotten a hit in five out of seven games. He has reached base safely four times in the first two games of this series in the Bay.

Lamonte Wade Jr. UNDER 1.5 Total Bases

After having an excellent stretch in June, Wade has registered over 1.5 total bases in only one game out of the last eight. Wade is much less effective against left-handed pitchers, hitting only .224 against southpaws this season.
