    Dolphins @ Lions

    Key Storylines/What to Watch

The Dolphins are coming off a shaky win over Pittsburgh a game in which they looked dominant in the first quarter and lifeless on offense the rest of the way. They remain favorites over a Lions team that has been shut down over the last two weeks and will use this matchup as an opportunity to regain life in their offense against one of the league’s best defenses for fantasy offenses. All the Dolphins we count on for fantasy are a go here as must-start options including Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert joins the fray as borderline top-10 options. The Lions themselves have fantasy players for us as the Dolphin defense has gotten banged up lately. Amon-Ra St. Brown coming off the concussion protocol will be a top-12 option, while positive practice reports from D’Andre Swift make him a nice option against a reeling Dolphins defense. Even Jared Goff seems promising and with his options becoming healthy, he seems due for a big performance. The Dolphins could really use a win here as they trail Buffalo for the division lead as they try for a wildcard spot in the crowded AFC, while the Lions will continue their quest for the number one pick in next year’s draft.

    Top Starts

Dolphins QB, WR, RB, TE: All of the Dolphins skill position players are in play, we should be excited to start Tua as a top-10 QB option while equally being excited about Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle as WR1s. Raheem Mostert has seized the starting running back role from Chase Edmonds and has entered the running back circle of trust as a must-start RB. Even Mike Gesicki becomes an option as he has been given a more opportune role in the offense and can be viewed as a low-end TE1.

Lions QB, WR, RB, TE: This game will be a fantasy frenzy as all position options for both teams as great must-starts with a lot of offense expected. Jared Goff is en route to having his best game of the season with the Dolphins having health issues in their secondary and his weapons are now healthy. Amon-Ra St. Brown should be back and is a surefire WR1 while running back D’Andre Swift should return and provide us with RB1 upside. Tight end T.J. Hockenson could make for a nice start at our game’s least deep position and will be a top-12 option himself.

    Boom/Bust Dart Throw

RB Jamaal Williams: Williams could still get the majority of carries and handle goal-line work for the Lions as Swift gets back up to speed in the early going and makes for a touchdown dependent RB2/FLEX.

WR Josh Reynolds: Reynolds will get looks, especially if St. Brown is slow out of the gate or gets the majority of the attention from the Dolphins defense. While more of a WR4, he gets looks in the end zone and could surprise if Goff is to throw more often than they would like.
