Justin Edwards, SF, PHI (36% rostered)
Tonight: 36 minutes, 19 points (9-of-15 FG), 10 boards, one assist, five steals, one triple.
Analysis: With the Sixers focused on draft positioning, Edwards has been seeing heavy minutes and should continue to do so through season’s end. He’s now scored 15 or more points in the last seven games and brings value in points, threes and steals—evidenced by tonight’s 19-point, five-steal effort. While he only hit one triple tonight, he knocked down five on Monday, so he’s typically solid in that area. With a favorable schedule ahead, make sure he’s not sitting on your waiver wire.
Tristan Vukčević, C, WAS (12% rostered)
Tonight: 23 minutes, 17 points (7-of-13 FG, 3-of-3 FT), six boards, two assists, one steal, two blocks.
Analysis: After being held to under 15 points in his last two games following a three-game streak of 17-point efforts, Vukcevic bounced back tonight with an efficient scoring performance and solid contributions across the board. While he typically chips in a couple of triples, he missed all five of his attempts from deep in this one. Still, with the current state of the Wizards’ injury report, he deserves a look in both standard and deep leagues, especially considering he has two more games this week and four next week.
