It will be pretty wet in Philadelphia and Baltimore on Friday and Saturday. Watch out for possible rain delays or postponements in the Brewers-Phillies and White Sox-Orioles series this weekend. Rain chances aren’t quite as high in New York City but may still pose a problem for the Rockies-Mets series.
Early next week looks favorable for hitters at many MLB parks as temperatures head toward 80 or 85 degrees in quite a few locations. Some pop-up thunderstorms may occur but widespread rains aren’t expected to interfere with any series early next week.

- Detroit at Kansas City (Friday-Sunday; 77 degrees Friday then 85 Saturday and Sunday)
- NY Yankees at LA Dodgers (Friday-Sunday; one of the top three warmest series this weekend with temps near 80 each game)
Targets for Early Next Week:
- Arizona at Atlanta (Tuesday-Thursday; 80-85 degrees and a favorable dose of humidity for all three games)
- Milwaukee at Cincinnati (Monday-Wednesday; we like our hitters going to Great American Ball Park and we’ll like them even more with temps near 80 all three games)
- Minnesota at the A’s (Monday-Thursday; warm with temps near 80 for the first three games then 85 on Thursday)
- Chicago Cubs at Washington (Tuesday-Thursday; warm with temps of 78 to 85 degrees for this series)
- Minnesota at Tampa Bay (Tuesday-Thursday; hottest series of the week with temps near 90 for all three games)
Cool and/or wet weather games are ones to avoid for our hitters, including:
