Spain took a giant step towards getting out of the group with a magnificent win over Croatia and was one of the top performers of matchday one. Lamine Yamal performed well in his first game of the tournament, and Nico Williams showed that he could be a threat to opposing fullbacks in upcoming matches. It was important for their striker Morata to start the tournament with a goal.

Although Italy displayed their quality by controlling the ball and exchanging some quality passes against Albania, I don’t think their offensive line is strong enough to advance far in the tournament. Considering the odds for this match, my stronger prediction is Spain moneyline, as I think their strength compared to Italy’s is a little higher. However, Italy, a formidable tournament team as always, should put up a fight, potentially leading to both teams scoring. Both bets are worth considering today.
