NBA: Cavs vs. Pistons, 7 pm EST – Pistons +2.5 (-110) 1 unit (Fanatics)
The Pistons lost their opener but responded with a comeback win against the Celtics, rallying from 17 points down and taking control through dominant offensive rebounding led by Jalen Duren. The Cavs, meanwhile, had one of the best regular-season starts in league history last year. After losing their first game to the Knicks, they rebounded by beating the Bucks last night, led by Donovan Mitchell, who scored 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Mobley has been steady, Merrill is in form, and Hunter made his season debut, though Garland and Strus may miss this one again. Although its anticipated to be a close one, the Pistons’ energy and rebounding could be the difference, and I like them to keep this one close tonight at home.
