NBA: Bucks vs. Raptors, 6:30 pm EST – Raptors -1.5 (-112) 1 unit (DraftKings)
Toronto have entered a rebuilding phase and have missed the playoffs in each of the last three seasons. They acquired Ingram midseason via trade, but he didn’t play back then. With him now in the lineup, the Raptors dominated the Hawks, blowing the game open in the third quarter and scoring 138 points, the most in franchise history for a season opener. Seven different players finished in double figures. The Bucks, meanwhile, have fallen short of expectations in back-to-back seasons since winning the title fifty years after their last one. The decision to part ways with Lillard, giving up most of his contract, came as a major surprise. They handled the Wizards with ease, effectively putting the game away in the first quarter, as Antetokounmpo once again carried the load. Still, the Raptors look sharper right now, and I’m backing them to win.
